The selection of works by African makers aims to allow a new perception of African design in the context of the contemporary design market. This perception is aroused by the high manufacturing and creative quality of the exhibited works. The selected works of both African and Italian makers are made of materials such as fabric, wood, metal, ceramics, and they are furnishing accessories, fabrics, fashion accessories, furniture and everyday objects. The exhibition of the works of Italian and African designers (makers) is complemented by works of graphic art with the aim of presenting contemporary creative stories that tell the visitors of the exhibition aspects of contemporary African and Italian realities.
